The objective of the research presented in this paper is to introduce concepts and methodology for the measure of satisfaction and cognitive styles. The base population is taken from a sample of 16 first grade high school students in different cities of Mexico, Portugal and Costa Rica, enrolled in the virtual collaborative project “Our Earth: Deforestation” of the Network of the Latin American Institute of Educational Communication (ILCE). To that end, the 26-Item Cognitive Style and Satisfaction Questionnaire (CSEC) was developed.
